A3 Propeller
Introducing the A3 propeller from Indigo Power Systems. The A3 is specifically designed for optimal all-around performance in high-horsepower applications, eliminating performance compromises between holeshot, cruise, and high speed operation. The result is great holeshot and bite in rough and aerated water, exceptional fuel economy at cruising speeds, and increased high speed capabilities at wide open throttle. The 3-bladed A3 propeller design provides exceptional grip in demanding high-load conditions, yielding performance gains in applications currently requiring 4-bladed propellers, and allowing for higher engine mounting and/or trim vs. other 3-blade propellers, yielding further performance gains. And it does this all without excessive propeller rake, which can compromise running attitude and ride in many vessel applications.
Developed using the same design tools and technology used in the development of fighter aircraft, jet engines, and rockets, the A3 takes propeller performance to a whole new level. Cast in stainless steel, each A3 propeller undergoes a series of carefully-controlled manufacturing processes that further improve strength and corrosion resistance. The end result is an optimized high performance propeller that is essentially ‘labbed’ right out of the box.
